Man clinging to life after being shot while sitting in his car


A man is clinging to life after being shot while sitting in his car on a main suburban road in Melbourne’s south-east.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, was sitting inside his car on Shrives Road in Narre Warren South about 5am on Saturday when he was shot in the upper body.

He was taken to The Alfred hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The whole 2km of Shrives Road, between Centre Road and Pound Road, has been cordoned off by police.
